how do i pull up articles to read
You’re in the right place! From http://iue.libguides.com/A-ZList, click on any of the letter tabs above to see the databases we have that start with that letter. If you’d prefer, we also have the databases arranged by subject, too. Which databases you want to use will depend on what your topic is.
For good general information databases, try Academic Search Premier on the ‘A’ tab or ProQuest Central on the ‘P’ tab. Opposing Viewpoints in Context on the ‘O’ tab is another good one, if you need information about contentious issues. If you need articles to read immediately, all three of these databases let you limit to just articles with full text. If you’re off campus, you’ll be asked to log in – that’s the same username and passphrase you use for IU email and Oncourse.
If your topic is more specialized – if you need articles about nursing, for instance, or social work – we have databases for those, too. Let me know, either here or at email@example.com, and I’d be glad to introduce you to those resources.
